New hex build plan

Decided to make a hex finally
I finally decided to make my first hex after this quad(ST360-check previous posts in the blog).  The hex will not be made only for fun but for learning; I will design and build my own frame.
Choose aluminium, plastic and wood as the raw materials.

Some builds by other members I appreciate alot-

Clean, isn't it?

Check this thread-
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1617323&highlight=foldabl+hexacopt&page=7
Really helpful for learning and taking inspiration for scratchbuild multi-rotors.

Stay tuned for more info. Will update you guys with my ST360 Soon.

And the parts list of the new build(this hex) will be posted very soon.

My FIRST quad build

Hi, I recently ordered a complete parts list from HK(except the radio and the battery due to customs).
So, This build is kinda nice one. I am waiting for my stuff to arrive.
Quads are really cool. I am a school student and started RC only because of quadcopters!
Quadcopters- Sound really cool? uhuh?
Yes it should! Quad- means 4 & Copter- means motor(rotor).

Lets start with the parts list-

You can go with my parts list or modify according to yours. But this build is great!

Motors, Frame & Props-

Motors should be chosen after calculating and visualizing your quad's weight. I choose a kit which includes frame, motors, and props.
So here it is-

Motors look cool

complete parts you get in the kit.

1x #031000132/28592 ST360 Quadcopter Frame w/Motors and Propellers 360mm = $37.99

ESC-

I choose a bit higher amp ESCs so that I could use the same ESCs in future with better motors. So here they are-
Turnigy Plush 25A
4x #TR_P25A/2163 TURNIGY Plush 25amp Speed Controller = $47.08

Flight Controller-

Simply, I choose KK2.0 without any trouble. Multiwii is good too and upgradable but ain't userfriendly and easy for a beginner! So kk2.0 from Hk.

KK2.0 From Hobbyking.com

Transmitter-

I choose the 9xR because it is new in the market is is good priced. It also has great look ;)
The new 9xR mode2 from hobbyking
Extras-
You need connectors, power distribution board( You can easily build one on your own),wires, etc.

I will soon upload videos and a maiden flight video.
Till then watch these for guides-
